Things to Bring
In addition to hard work, community and spiritual life make up the duration of the time in Appalachia. Community life is the structured and unstructured time where youth get to know each other. Daily worship through music and Bible study is focused on how our experiences of serving connect with where we are and where we are going in our faith walk with Christ.

- Bible
- Cool, comfortable clothes - shorts, pants, swimsuits
- Camera and/or video camera
- Water bottle for the worksite
- Sleeping bag and pillow (air mattress ok)
- Towels, washcloths
- Soap, shampoo, toothpaste
- Light jacket and raingear
- Work gloves and cap
- Laundry soap

- Sunscreen and tick repellant
